The History

Andy’s Pet Shop was established in 2001 by Andy who is a second generation pet store owner. The original store was located in a small house that was 800 square feet. After outgrowing that location Andy’s Pet Shop moved to a new 4500 square-foot building in fall of 2011. It is the only family owned and operated pet store in Peru, IL. We feature an array of critters including fish (marine and freshwater), reptiles, amphibians, small mammals, and birds. The pet shop is also a stop for those interested in paintball and skateboard products- we boast a collection of skateboards, long-boards, paintball, and air-soft. The store itself is home to a few critters of its own including several parrots and a Flemish giant rabbit.
